It is not really rocket science. We supply you with a small laptop and a thermal printer (connected via Bluetooth). Both the laptop and the printer have very good batteries which will work during loadshedding. You will need to connect the laptop to your Wi-Fi network (and make sure your network keeps working during loadshedding).
The laptop will come pre-configured to get emails from a mailbox, that we’ll create and assign to the device. The device is configured to automatically print any order emails that arrive (it won’t print any random spam that may arrive, only orders). So it is actually really simple. You just need to make sure the computer is on and connected to the Wi-Fi and running the email program we installed. And make sure the printer is on and within 10 meters of the laptop.
Of course the laptop is a complete laptop so you can use the browser on the laptop to actually login to your Resto shop and manage the shop too. Change prices, edit orders, find client details, see statistics etc… We also install Teamviewer on the laptop. So if you have a valid support package we can/will remotely login to the device to troubleshoot any issues you may have.
